The poker gods told me that in order to win, I had to VALUE BET.
They chanted:
“Put him on a hand. Maximize the bet as high as you can, while making sure he’ll call. Walk away a winner.”
Fast forward to THE NOW.
I was tricked. I had been conned. I had been BRAINWASHED.
They took the word VALUE and smeared it.
What value is there in putting chips in the pot, in hopes of getting them RIGHT BACK, plus some?
Wait! I know what SOME of you are thinking…because you are trying to make money, dumbass!
Let me EXPLAIN something to you, pal. We are of a higher MINDSET, here at the Edge. This isn’t just about making money, anymore.
Value is something to be cherished. Value is a key concept in enlightened BUSINESS.
We give value, for money…which is a symbol for the energy that it took to CREATE the value.
We even TIP our customer, by OVERDELIVERING…because we are cool like that.
We don’t give the ‘illusion of more chips’ to our customer…in hopes of snatching it all back and leaving them with nothing…
That not how we ROLL…
We are focused on providing VALUE to our fellow man…not allowing the casinos to pit us up against each other any longer…
Let’s end it like THIS:
Appraise your own VALUE, your own self-worth, by how much your ACTIONS are profiting and uplifting mankind.
There is nothing wrong with sowing seeds…and expecting a harvest. Keyword: Seeds (valuable) not poker chips…
